Our Approach:
Social Learning Communities

Picture
HOW DOES GUIDELEADERS WORK?
Guideleaders employs social learning methods to engage students in building deeper knowledge from their online coursework. Guideleaders creates Learning Circles for each cohort of students to thrive.  Our coaches create a supportive, collaborative "learning lab" that inspires peer-to-peer and coach-to-student dialogues around Open Coursework provided by online universities.

Students in a Guideleaders active learning session will often spend more time talking than will their session coach, which inspires all of us!

Our active learning goals include:
*  Greater understanding among students of the "philosophy" of their group learning techniques
*  Each student has a "voice," sharing in office hours and event zoom meetings
*  Strengthening peer-to-peer and group study
*  Opportunity for each student to share their unique understanding of the course content focused on problem solving

LEARNING PARTNER PROFILE:  MIT provides extremely relevant, project-based, online coursework through its Professional Education program.

How Does Active Learning Compliment YOUR On-Line Course?
Coaches at Guideleaders come prepared to engage students in Team-Based Learning (TBL). Students must complete preparatory materials from their on-line course before a Guideleaders session to assure maximum engagement.  Guideleaders coaches support each learning group in their experience where the power of team work, active learning, and embodiment helps motivate each student to achieve their goals.

How Do Social Learning Teams Work To Tackle Online Coursework?
The latest research shows that social groups and peer-to-peer interaction create socio-emotional connections that inspire each person to succeed as part of a team.  Students enroll in a Guideleaders Session Group.  The Session Provides a Coaching Framework that nurtures and supports each student within a limited (no more than 18 students per coach) learning team.  Guideleaders hosts a weekly discussion event, and provides additional services (such as one-on-one Teachers Assistant) based on the level of your membership.

The relevance of Artificial Intelligence TodayArtificial Intelligence is no longer optional – it’s foundational to how modern organizations operate, compete, and innovate. According to McKinsey, Generative AI alone could add up to $4.4 trillion annually to the global economy — but only for organizations and individual that know how to implement it effectively.
From content generation to autonomous decision-making, AI is transforming everything from customer experience to strategic planning. Yet many leaders still struggle to bridge the gap between awareness and action.  Join a Guideleaders Cohort near you to connect with other online learners, an Agentic AI Expert Coach, and peers to learn how an MIT Professional Education course can change your life.
